We believe that positive, lasting change to the human condition happens through relationship with one another, in a community, and with God.  And these days, the mandate to "love our neighbor as ourselves" applies globally. People in the Western world need the spiritual and cultural strengths of Africa as desperately as Africa needs the resources of the West; it's an exchange, and it should be personal.
